Welcome to the Sagot Lab at SUNY Oswego!

We study how communication and the environment shape animal behavior—especially in bats. Our research explores social roles, group decision-making, and habitat use across tropical and temperate systems.

From vocal coordination and collective movement to acoustic disruption in urban environments, we combine fieldwork, acoustic monitoring, and predictive modeling to understand how animals adapt and thrive in changing landscapes.
