We had a great time in Costa Rica working with a colleague and two amazing students. This time we did flight cage experiments, to understand the vocal behavior or Thyroptera tricolor.

Great news!!! Our paper called “Contact calling in context: Intra and intergroup variation in vocalization rates depend on a call’s function”, in collaboration with Dr. Gloriana Chaverri from Universidad de Costa Rica and Dr. Yimen Araya-Ajoy from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, got accepted in Behavioral Ecology and Sociobiology.
